Be Free in 2018!

It’s the time of year for new beginnings so let’s look at your souls’ deepest longings, and what might be blocking you from attaining them.

Whether it is a new book, relationship or physical goal, if it hasn’t happened yet a part of your psyche, probably unconscious, feels overwhelmed or unworthy.

Truth: The more important the goal is to your souls’ growth, the more fear there will potentially be around reaching it, and it is likely that you will unconsciously sabotage yourself. Think about something that you have always wanted to accomplish but haven’t. Just the fact that you have always wanted to reach the goal means that it is important for your souls’ growth and journey to have that experience.

Recently I stepped through a decade old fear that has blocked my intentions to begin a specific weekly regime. I’ve always been very aware of the importance, but would procrastinate and sabotage it from coming to fruition.

I was literally shaking on my way there and yet within 10 minutes or so after arriving, the fear was completely gone. I’d pushed through the barrier of that one thought. Fears are just thoughts.  We all have it within us to observe our thoughts and begin a dialogue with our fears to more quickly change the outcome.

On the drive home, a hawk magically appeared 5-6’ above my car and hovered there for 5-10 seconds… long enough that the people in the cars around me had dropped jaws too…long enough that I knew it wasn’t a coincidence. It felt empowering and magical…as if spirit was acknowledging my courage and confirming that I was on the right path.

When your love yourself enough to take action despite your fears, you’re free.

Choose to take a loving parent role to the part of you that is fearful. Then give yourself permission to lovingly become the authority of your life.

Every time you pivot your thoughts and ignore the resistance to start adulting on behalf of your souls’ deepest desires, you inspire others to do the same.

I am Hawk

Soaring on high I cleave the sky

To scan the land with visions eye

Holding the dream of yesterday

I birth anew the golden way

Opening to truth and insight

In the rising sun’s flowing light

Hawk is vision renewed,

power gathered, nurture accepted,

courage honored, awareness heightened,

separation ended, and hope offered.

Hawk is the way home.
